The PTO President preside over meetings of the board and PTO, in general. The President coordinates all PTO activities & members to ensure duties are being carried out, sign contracts, and serve as liaisons between PTO & Administration, Staff & Parents. Management of Social media platforms, our PTO website and any communication needed to bridge the gap between school & home are carried out. It is the responsibility of the President to provide the support needed to our fellow board members, committees, and community.

Secretary

The PTO Secretary collaborates closely with the co-Presidents, VP, the school's administrative team, and routinely communicate with PTO committee chairs. The Secretary's primary focus is to facilitate timely and accurate PTO communication to the school administration, teachers, staff, committee volunteers, and school families. Our Secretary is the author of our PTO newsletter, takes meeting minutes, announces special monthly staff dates, updates the marquee sign, as well as helps with our socials and website.

Membership Chair

The PTO Membership Chair is responsible for creating and implementing a membership plan, promoting membership throughout the year, providing membership reports at PTO board and association meetings, and collecting dues. Our Membership chair also helps oversee the parent volunteer classroom reps & their communication with families.

PTO Teacher Rep

A PTO teacher representative acts as a liaison between teachers and the Parent Teacher Organization (PTO). This role involves communicating teacher needs and concerns to the PTO, and disseminating PTO information back to the teaching staff. The representative may also help with tasks like collecting lists, organizing gifts, and facilitating communication among parents.

The PTO Vice President plays a role in day-to-day operations of the PTO, helps formulate the group's long-range plan, works out issues as they arise, and participates in PTO board discussions and decision making.

Co-Fundraising Chair

The PTO Co-Fundraising Chair oversees all fundraising activities for the PTO. This means planning, organizing and volunteer recruitment. Your Co-Fundraising Chair will work with parents, students, school staff and the local community to plan and implement incredible fundraising events.

Cultural Enrichment Chair

The PTO Cultural Enrichment Chair works to build young children's self-confidence and skills, increase children's awareness, appreciation, and inclusion of diverse beliefs and cultures, and maximize children's academic achievement and educational success.

Treasurer

The PTO Treasurer is the custodian of the group's funds. The treasurer helps develop the budget, collects fundraising money, writes checks for purchases and reimbursements, tracks income and spending, makes financial reports, and organizes the books for annual audit.

This involves being an active participant, a supportive leader, and a communicator, ensuring the PTO and school administration work together for the benefit of students and families.
